If you’re looking for a career where you can make high dollar salaries, then maybe you should consider what it would be like working in the medical career. It’s not too late to go back to school and put yourself into the grind to get that desired six-figure salary. Or, if you haven’t started school yet, you should highly consider it as more and more young people are finding themselves entering the medical field. It is the place for earning big bucks, as it houses some of the highest paid professionals in the world.
The major downside that scares lots of people off from that six-figure salary is the amount of school that is required of you. However, there lots of positions out there that do not require very much schooling. If you look at some of the highest paid positions in the medical field, yes the salaries can get up to $500,000 a year, but they require at the minimum 12-14 years of schooling. Some of us just don’t have the patient and mind for that and would rather get out there into the field in half that. If you are one of those people, you should consider becoming a chiropractor. In order to become a chiropractor, about 7 years of schooling is required. That’s substantially less than most other positions require. In turn, your salary isn’t quite as hefty, but it is still very comfortable at a solid $60,000 a year as a median. However, if you stick with it, it’s not uncommon to be making around $150,00 a year in your later and more experienced years.
But maybe 7 years is still too much schooling. If you are a middle aged adult who just found yourself in the wrong career and want a fast turn-around, look no further. X-ray technician is the way to go! First of all, x-ray techs get to work with cutting-edge technology every day – this makes the job refreshing, exciting, and fun! Don’t forget that, because of how technology-dependent the field is, it is changing seemingly every year. This again attributes to how refreshing of a field it is to be in. But the best part about x-ray technicians is that they, on average, only require about 2-4 years of schooling in an accredited program. That is very realistic, even for middle-aged adults! As an x-ray tech you can expect to make about $50,000 a year too – not to bad for just a few years of schooling!
